The turning process enables us to produce components with rounded shapes; starting from a solid block, exceeding material is mechanically cut and removed (roughing phase), obtaining the general shape, which is then refined (finishing process) to obtain the final object with specifics required by the customer.
With CNC machines, the turning machine becomes the most complete one, because it is able to execute milling processes too and, with the support of a bar-feeder, to produce components in series without action of the operator.
